Facial Cleansing Products and Usage

Starting and ending the day with a clean skin is the most basic element for skin care. And that doesn't just mean washing your face with soap.

There are various facial cleansing products available, such as clay, gel or cream. All these products basically remove dirt and oil from the skin.

Let's take a look at how to use these products.

Gel Cleanser

Need a deep clean? Products like Livben Gel Cleanser have the ability to remove dirt and impurities on its surface without drying out your skin.

When to use: You can use a foaming gel cleanser for when you find yourself in hot and humid environments. The foaming action helps cut oil that can build up when you're sweaty. It's also a good choice after your gym workout.

How to Use: Wet your face and hands with warm water. Lather a small amount of gel and massage your face in gentle, circular motions. Rinse with warm water and dry with a soft towel.

Clay Cleaner

You can use the face mask daily, but you can use a facial cleanser formulated with pure clays any day of the week. Clay cleansers seamlessly transform from clay to foam and remove daily surface impurities without over-drying the skin.

When to use it: If you used a quick facial cleanser such as micellar water or a make-up remover in the morning, you may want to change your cleanser at night. Cleanse your skin using a clay cleaner, especially if you have been exposed to a lot of pollution in the city. It is used only once a day.

How to use: Every day, squeeze your chosen clay cleaner into your hand and add water to turn the clay into foam. Gently massage the facial cleanser into your face in circular motions, then rinse and pat dry.

Micellar Water

We used to say micellar water was in fashion and we felt lucky that it came all the way from France. They are liquid cleansers powered by tiny micelles (oil molecules) that act as magnets to lift dirt, oil, and makeup up and away from your skin's surface. Micellar waters can be preferred frequently due to their cleaning properties as well as not requiring rinsing and rubbing.

When to use: As we said, micellar waters do not need to be rinsed. They are ideal for cleaning when you are not near water. For example, if you are planning a camping trip, we recommend that you have plenty of micellar water with you.

How to use: You can use it by pouring it on make-up cotton. Micellar waters are oil, soap and alcohol free and can be used on the face, eyes and lips.

Cream Cleanser

Especially if you have a dry skin type, we recommend using a cream cleanser to avoid tight and uncomfortable skin after cleansing. This type of creamy cleanser works to gently wash the skin, leaving only the oils the skin needs while removing the excess oils that have accumulated. Formulated with regenerating oils and gently but effectively removing traces of make-up, Livben cream cleanser leaves your skin feeling softer.

When to use: For most people, keeping your skincare routine the same all year won't work. For example, it may be wise to switch to cream cleansers during the winter months or in cold climates.

How to Use: Wet your hands, lather up the cream cleanser and gently massage into the skin. Rinse and then dry lightly.

Cleaning Wipe

Not every facial cleanser comes in a bottle or tube. You can't forget the cleaning wipes that come in small, extremely handy packs. The wipes inside have a cleansing formula that removes make-up and then cleans without rinsing.

When to use it: You're feeling a little lazy and the last thing you want to do is wash off your makeup and try to remove it completely. That's when you need a cleaning wipe. If you find it difficult to remove your make-up before going to bed every night, it is a good idea to have a pack of cleaning wipes on your nightstand.

How to use: Gently wipe your face with a tissue to remove all makeup and impurities. And that's it!
